Terms of Service

These Terms form an agreement between you and Kairn, an online service operated from Singapore. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using Kairn, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have legal capacity to enter this agreement where you live. You must provide accurate information, use only your own account, protect your credentials, and notify Kairn promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

Kairn enables members to create community polls, contribute to matched research, and—where their membership permits—run a structured Founder workflow including invalidation, validation, AI-assisted summaries, market analysis, product testing, and launch-support requests.

Kairn organizes evidence and perspectives. It does not guarantee demand, commercial success, investment, regulatory approval, accuracy of participant statements, or any particular business outcome. You remain responsible for product, legal, financial, safety, and launch decisions.

Free access provides the features and limits displayed at the time of use. Contributor membership is currently USD 25 billed annually. Founder membership is currently USD 25 billed monthly. Taxes, if applicable, are shown during checkout.

Each successful Founder payment grants or extends Contributor access for 12 months from that payment. If Founder access ends, the included Contributor access continues until its displayed expiry date. Membership limits, including active projects, questions, respondents, and poll allowances, are described on the pricing and membership pages.

Promotional access is subject to its stated eligibility, verification, duration, and one-time-use rules. A promotion does not create a paid subscription unless you separately complete a paid checkout.

Paid memberships renew automatically until canceled. Contributor renews annually and Founder renews monthly using the payment method on file. The price, billing interval, and renewal terms are shown before payment.

You can manage the payment method and cancel an active subscription through Kairn's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the interface states otherwise; access remains available until then. Deleting an account does not by itself cancel a Stripe subscription.

Failed or reversed payments may result in restricted or removed paid access. Refund handling is described in Kairn's Cancellation and Refund Policy.

You retain ownership of original problems, product descriptions, questions, responses, media, and other content you submit. You grant Kairn a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, analyze, moderate, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service according to your selected visibility and these Terms.

You must have the rights and permissions required for submitted content. Do not submit confidential third-party information, personal data you are not entitled to share, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.

Community polls may be viewed by matched signed-in members. Founder invalidation and validation research is private to selected participants and the authorized Founder workspace. Participants must not copy, publish, exploit, or redistribute private project material encountered through Kairn.

Authors must describe ideas honestly, use audience targeting responsibly, avoid manipulating participants, and must not treat small samples or AI output as statistically conclusive. Participants must answer in good faith and must not use automation, duplicate accounts, fabricated identities, or coordinated responses to influence results or points.

Points are limited, revocable platform units. They are not cash, stored value, cryptocurrency, property, or a promise of a particular reward. Eligible uses and requirements are shown in the Rewards page and may include polling capacity, partner benefits, or access opportunities.

Kairn may correct, withhold, reverse, expire, or remove points affected by error, abuse, refunded transactions, duplicate participation, or rule violations. Partner offers and testing opportunities may be limited, changed, withdrawn, or subject to separate partner terms.

You may not use Kairn for illegal, deceptive, harassing, hateful, obscene, exploitative, dangerous, or fraudulent activity; scams or phishing; malware; spam; impersonation; unauthorized scraping; security testing without written permission; circumvention of payment or membership controls; or collection of unnecessary sensitive information.

Kairn may moderate or reject submissions and may restrict, suspend, or close accounts to protect members, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or investigate suspected abuse. Serious conduct may be reported to relevant providers or authorities where appropriate.

Kairn relies on third-party services for payment, email, infrastructure, security, and AI analysis. Their availability and separate terms may affect parts of Kairn. Links or partner offers do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee.

AI-generated summaries and strategic analysis may contain errors, omit perspectives, or reflect limitations in the submitted evidence and retrieved sources. Review source material and obtain qualified professional advice before making consequential decisions.

To the extent permitted by law, Kairn is provided on an “as available” basis without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Kairn is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, participant conduct, business decisions, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where liability can lawfully be limited, Kairn's aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the fees you paid to Kairn during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to that claim.

You may stop using Kairn and close your account, subject to active billing, project, retention, and legal requirements. Kairn may change features or these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate; continued use after their effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without limiting mandatory rights that apply in your country. Before starting formal proceedings, contact Kairn and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue in good faith. The courts of Singapore will have non-exclusive jurisdiction where legally permitted.
